The majority of the personal information collected by PhenoVista is provided by you voluntarily on the PhenoVista Site, for example when you sign up to receive more information or apply to an open position and is therefore collected with your permission. The remaining personal information is collected for PhenoVista’s legitimate business purposes, for example to monitor and improve the quality of the PhenoVista Site and our services, and to protect and defend our rights, property or safety or that of our clients and other users of the PhenoVista Site.
Links to web sites that are not operated by or for PhenoVista (“Third-Party Sites”) are provided solely as a convenience to you. If you use these links, you will leave the PhenoVista Site. PhenoVista may disclose and/or transfer your personal information: (i) to its trusted third party service providers (for example, companies that provide systems, web hosting including microsites of the PhenoVista Site and other IT services; internal and external advisors and auditors); (ii) if required by applicable law; (iii) in connection with a reorganization or combination of our firm with another firm, (iv) if it believes that such disclosure is necessary to enforce or apply its terms of use and other agreements or otherwise protect and defend PhenoVista’s rights, property or safety or that of our clients and other users of the PhenoVista Site; (v) in order to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or other legal obligation, or a regulatory or government inquiry; or (vi) with consent.
Notwithstanding any other provision of this Policy, Phenovista may engage third-party service providers (including The Assay Depot, Inc. d/b/a Scientist.com (“Scientist.com”) in the USA to work with PhenoVista to administer and provide PhenoVista’s Scientist.com Webstore (the “Webstore”) and to perform functions on our behalf. For example, we may utilize Scientist.com’s services of to provide:

• ordering services;
• invoicing and payment services;
• cloud services;
• hosting services;
• hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run our business;
• online file storage;
• customer services via the Webstore;
• IT services;
• document management services;
• website analytics;
• billing and finance;

• supply chain financing;
• auditors and other professional advisors;
• delivering packages and mail;
• providing marketing assistance;
• creating and producing images;

• recommended algorithms;

In doing so, Scientist.com may have access to personal information on the Webstore for the purposes of performing services on PhenoVista’s behalf. As PhenoVista’s appointed processor of such personal data, Scientist.com shall not use such personal data for any other purposes, as governed more specifically by the terms of their agreement with us.
In addition, we may share your personal data with Scientist.com and authorize them to be a separate controller thereof for the purposes of using such personal data in accordance with their own privacy policy, available from time to time at https://phenovista.vercel.app/privacy-policy/scientist-privacy-policy (the “Scientist.com Privacy Policy”).
PhenoVista assumes that all personal data collected by us on the Webstore relates to the individual’s business contact details and that all communications between us are therefore “business to business” and not “business to consumer.” If you believe that this is not the case for personal data provided by you or individuals representing you, or you or the individuals whose personal data is shared on the Webstore are in a jurisdiction where your/their opt-in consent is specifically required for PhenoVista or Scientist.com to market our/their own or third party goods and services to you in a business to business capacity, or for Scientist.com to otherwise use your personal data placed on the Webstore in accordance with the Scientist.com Privacy Policy, please let PhenoVista and Scientist.com know by contacting us at Privacy@PhenoVista.com and Scientist.com at privacy@scientist.com.
PhenoVista may use third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Site (“Service Providers”), to provide the Site on our behalf, to perform Site-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Site is used.

Google Analytics. Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Site. Retargeting
LinkedIn Insight Tag. Within the Site, the marketing functions (so-called “LinkedIn Insight Tag”) of the network LinkedIn will be used. The provider is the LinkedIn Corporation, 1000 West Maude Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94085, USA. The LinkedIn Insight Tag is a piece of lightweight JavaScript code that we have added to the Site to enable in-depth campaign reporting and to help us unlock valuable insights about the Site visitors. We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to track conversions, retarget Site visitors, and unlock additional insights about members interacting with our LinkedIn adverts. The LinkedIn Insight Tag enables the collection of metadata such as IP address information, timestamp, and events such as page views. All data is encrypted. The LinkedIn browser cookie is stored in a visitor’s browser until they delete the cookie or the cookie expires.
Each time you access one of our pages that contains LinkedIn’s features, a connection is established to a LinkedIn server. LinkedIn is informed that you have visited our Site with your IP address. PhenoVista Site is not designed to store sensitive personal information such as financial, health, criminal, racial or ethnic origin or political affiliation and you should not use PhenoVista Site for that purpose.
By submitting your personal information on the Site you agree to the collection and use of your personal information on the basis described above. If you do not agree, please do not provide any personal information via the Site.
